Tania Hanna is the founder and CEO of DZYNA, dref_by_d & Urban Tech Apparel, and has successfully built fashion brands, lectured on fashion design and designed exclusive projects for a diverse range of labels such as AFL, Dickies, Pilot Athletic and Australian icon, the painter Pro Hart.

After graduating with a degree in fashion design at RMIT in the late 80’s, Tania began her apparel career working at Holeproof; successfully running their infamous No Knickers campaign.

With this accolade under her belt she launched her first label Matana, designing and producing unique, high end fashion pieces focusing on the bridal & race wear industries.

4 years later, in partnership with Sydney company Kakzui, a second label was born, Recur. With a thriving nationwide, wholesale business (including retail stores), this women’sapparel label was one of the first Australian brands to open factories in Kowloon, establishing a strong bond with Chinese manufacturers & suppliers that endures today.

In 2000, after many years of mainstream fashion experience, Tania established DZYNA due to the high demand of her freelance design services and her experience in overseas manufacturing. Almost 20 years later this company has grown from strength to strength, adding the boutique fashion label dref_by_d & technology focused, street wear brand, Urban Tech Apparel to its roster.
